Flu season has come around and it’s been a bit of a ruff week for some of the staff. Despite a couple of the team taking some time off we’ve all had a wonderful week. Thank you to everyone for bearing with us!
The dogs have showed no signs of slowing down for us and have been as lively and happy as ever!
We decided to go back to basics a little bit this week and worked on our “sit & wait” command.
This can be surprisingly tricky when there are a lot of dogs around and plenty of exciting distractions but with a little bit of patience and the right reward anything is possible.
Teaching dogs the basics but in gradually more exciting and distraction-filled environments is really important and can help to ensure that you have control over your dog at all times, no matter where you are!
It can also make for some really great photo opportunities too!
